Today was definitely of the former variety I'm pleased to say. After a couple of days of nothing 2 winners came along in a row from 11 qualifying bets, both at Kempton. Firstly "love you louis" drifted before the off and recorded a betfair sp of 14.57 and a bit later on "prince rossi" royally finished the day rather nicely at 11's.In personal terms I hadn't caught the drift on the first winner and only had 11's. Some of the difference was made up on "Master Sommerville". I had backed at 34 and the Betfair sp was 22.13. I had a lot in hand for a possible lay off and a free bet if the chance was to arise. I duly laid off at 6 in running and recovered my stake. Prince Rossi also helped to make up some of the slack. The betfair sp was 11. I had gotten 12.5 before the off and decided to lay off at evens for another risk free bet. The result went to a "nose" with plenty of photo finish bets firing into the re-opened betfair markets. All in all a "smug mode" day.
