System Performance Feb 16th to 22nd

Yep that just about sums this weekend up. An unspectacular week followed by a crap weekend has put more down than up on February so far and there's less than a week to go till it's over. The headline figures for the week are as follows: Points: -28.87 in monetary terms thats -28.87 x £25 or -£721.25.

February so far: -£1366.00 Year to date: +£5218.50

Frustrating though as it is I can't help thinking things are going to pick up soon. All the big profits for the systems come from the large priced outsiders.

I decided to run a test on big prices in handicaps. I looked at every runner in all handicap races in all race codes that returned prices of between 33/1 and 100/1 at industry standard starting price. Firstly I took a "control" reading of every year going back to 2005. Then I looked back individual months including December 2008 as that's when the systems also recorded a crap month. Then I looked at those three months as a whole going back to 2005. I was quite surprised by the results.

So then time to concentrate on the week ahead and I do have the next free system ready to post on the blog. Keep your eyes wide open for Thursday.

In the meantime it's babe and music time but maybe not what you're expecting.
