After a reported so-so day yesterday I downloaded the results on the software and I was pouring through the spreadsheet when I noticed 2 winners that I had missed which would have returned an overall profit on the day!!!!. 2 winners, crap! How did that happen???? I immediately emailed support to ask if there was something amiss. It turns out that I hadn't applied the latest software update properly and I wasn't picking up all of the system selections each day even though they were showing up in the results. A whole 20+ points had been lost DOH!!!!
It's one of the psychological downsides to systems and relying on mechanical processes to make profits. It is very frustrating to see this happen especially since I am making public the ups and downs of using systems. I would rather see everything on an upward curve but the reality is way different to theory. At least the truth writes a more interesting blog. Lesson learned I have now fixed my bug and everything is "A O.K." going forward but it was a costly way to find this out and I shall make sure to pay more attention next time. So what's it all got to do with driving an M3? Surely a pleasurable experience? I suggest you watch the top gear clip below.
So how's the real system performed in monetary terms this week? Last week was well, shite, but this week finished on a small profit Yay!! 7.31 points to be precise.
So @ the current level of £25.00 a point that's a profit after betfair tax of £182.75
February to date is showing a loss of £594.25 but year to date 2009 an amazing £6,115.25.
