Ardesia 14:50 Newcastle went rather close in running at 1.4 so there was the option of a free bet which was gratefully taken and I had my stake returned.
The most exciting part of the afternoon was in the 16:10 at Southwell when a huge gamble in the last few minutes before the off saw the odds for Orange Square tumble from over 30 to just over 16. I had gotten on at 36 and laid off for a free bet before the off as OS became a non qualifier for the system. I then watched in running as the odds came right in to 2 but frustratingly no cigar again!! I've had so many of these big free bets in the past month fail to scoop the prize it's just criminal I tell ya!
