Belters For Chelters?

Pinsticking was never a good look for anyone except grandma on Grand National day so having run some trends for two of the big races this arvo the Supreme Novices and the Arkle I decided to go one step further and check jockeys and trainers in said races for some extra guidance.

Here's my final selections for fun only.

In the supreme (13:30) I'm on Kempes trained by the Irishman Willie Mullins. The Irish raiders have shown themselves to be more than capable of landing the SNH in the past and look to be strong bets this year also. With Ruby Walsh in the saddle having ridden him to victory just last December at a higher weight than today Kempes looks promising at 10/1.

The Arkle (14:05) says "Planet Of Sound" to me. A PJ Hobbs contender with Richard Johnson up top @10/1. All 3 pieces of the jigsaw appear to be in form with Planet Of Sound having won on his last two outings with RJ on board both times.

There are still plenty of system bets this afternoon too. Back soon....
