Well Friday wasn't too bad, it was a setup for the weekend with a winner on the day. The weekend totally killed any profit made though and reversed any inroads from the week.

June is showing a 60 point loss with 2 days to go till month end. Miracles can happen however unlikely??

So in terms of profit and loss, or in this case just loss, according to the staking used.

BfSp <=30 @ £50 a point = -2.04 x £50 = -£102

BfSp >30 @ £25 a point = -18.45 x £25 = -£461.25

A total loss on the week again of -£563.25 leaving the yearly profit just below £10,000 at +£9645.50

Only 3.....

A somewhat quiet day by my standards. The best managed was a 2nd place.

Life On A Wave

It can be tough, like a feeling of being on an endless, undulating ocean. 17 selections yesterday, 17 without a win. A good tally so far this year though which keeps one's focus and hopes alive. The roi stands at 20%, not to be sneezed at by any means.

The sails are unfurled, where will the wind take me next?

Holiday & Jun Profits

Well I'm back. Decided to take a summer break from the grind of the daily posting for the last few weeks and I have to say I feel better for it. Not so much refreshed and rejuvinated, more along the lines of a much needed change from the norm.

Profit wise, I've still been posting selections on Punter's Lounge so no change there and It's been a poor month so far. As things stand today the month is 40 points in the hole which in itself is nothing new and after the 220 points gained in May it's not unexpected.

As per the staking plan then:

BfSp<=30 @ £50 a point -7.12 x £50 = -£356.00. BfSp>30 @ £25 a point -33.23 x £25 = -£830.75

A total loss of £1,186.00 since the last update and the profit for the year stands at +£10,208.75

One Small Winner

Well as the title says, one small winner but still a losing day. There were 2 large odds seconds and I'm getting the feeling I ought to be playing for place odds. The roi matches and so does the points profit but with playing for the place the strike rate is 18% instead of just over 5. Hmm.

System Performance May '09 YTD

Well in stark contrast to the last week in May the results for the month as a whole have been bloomin marvellous!

A level stakes profit of 220 points have seen the systems' fortunes perk up somewhat. The 1 point level stakes profit for the year to date now stands at 565.94, an average of over 100 points per month, and at this rate the target 1,000 point barrier will be broken by year end.

Well I'm sincerely hoping for a better mid to end flat season than the beginning so far, because frankly my dear it's been shitty pants!

System Performance May 25th to May 31st

After a poor run on Saturday there was a small upturn on Sunday but overall the week was one I'd like to forget with just 2 winners from 108 selections. Rather than prolonging the agony with analysis I'll just get the update done and dusted.

So then: @ BfSp >30 -21.45 x £25 = -£536.25

@BfSp <=30 -24.7 x £50 = -£1,235.00

And a grand loss of -£1,771.25 for the week. I know how Susan Boyle feelt when coming second.

That now leaves the yearly profit and loss at +£11,395.50 so no complaints eh?
